About This Program

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam and carries both spiritual obligation and social responsibility. AGHE Pakistan takes the trust of Zakat donors with the utmost seriousness. Our Zakat Cash Distribution program disburses Zakat funds directly to verified eligible recipients (Asnaf) in Gilgit-Baltistan. Eligibility is assessed by our field teams against Shariah criteria — the poor (Fuqara), the destitute (Masakeen), those in debt (Gharimeen), and those whose hearts are inclined to Islam (Mu'allafah Qulub). Every distribution is documented with recipient CNIC, signed acknowledgement, and photographs. Donors receive a full report confirming that their Zakat was disbursed in accordance with Shariah requirements. Your Zakat reaches the most deserving families in one of Pakistan's most under-served regions. AGHE Pakistan does not deduct administrative costs from Zakat — 100% reaches beneficiaries.
