About This Program

Access to clean drinking water remains a critical challenge in many remote corners of Gilgit-Baltistan. Contaminated water sources cause preventable illness, particularly in children and the elderly. AGHE Pakistan's Water Distribution program operates on two tracks: immediate distribution of clean drinking water during crises, and the establishment of permanent community water points through pipe schemes and filtration installations. Each water project is verified by our field teams and designed in consultation with the community. We prioritise villages where women and children walk long distances daily to fetch water. Donors receive a field report and photographs confirming the project completion. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "The best Sadaqah is giving water." Make a water project your Sadaqah-e-Jariyah today.
